So, where do I start?

I am knitting since a child. 

The usual Irish story of learning from Mum and my Nana and then in school we were also taught knitting.

I put it down until I was in college and doing some work at night, and discovered it again, it was very useful at that time!

One big long shapeless brown  jumper, which went into the hot-press at home, later, I discovered knitting toys and did so for friends and family.

Working in London, I continued knitting fairly routinely, even got my flatmate into it.  I discovered Rowan and Vogue magazines here and have built up quite a collection.

Australia was next and the hot weather didnt deter me, I kept on going back to it.

Fast forward to about 18 months ago, and I suddenly developed another taste for it, after not touching it since Australia.   This time, the internet brought up all sorts of possibilities for me, a common occurence around the globe.

I discovered blogging, and discovered other knitting friends who were and are glad to be seen knitting in public with me.
