Soakers

Some Soakers:

Pattern: Wool diaper cover

Yarn: Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Worsted

Needles: 5mm

Sizes: 0-6 months, except I messed up in the blue and green one and think I did a mixture of newborn and 0-6 months.  Oops.

I LOVE this pattern, and LOVE this yarn.

I ordered some Lanolin from Natures Nursery, it said it was out of stock on the website but would be reordered, and low and behold, it turned up on my doorstep 2 days later!! I was very impressed. Talk about good service.

  2. oh yes, also wanted to comment on the soakers which are BRILLIANT!
I’ve only used the green and blue one as the other one looks quite abit larger, i havent tried them on him yet as its usually not the most relaxed and happy nephew when we are changing nappies but it looks quite long against his legs. i will try it on him later and report back on the fit.
the one ive used is great, have used it probably 4 times now, it is so warm, fits so snuggly and most important is completely wet-resistant, he is always dry in the mornings, until the soaker comes off that is, and underneath is a different matter..!
but, am completely converted to these soakers, was dubious as to how water resistant they would be (in general, not yours specifically i mean) but they are really useful!
    thanks sis!
i may just let you teach me how to do that crochet thing you were talking about the other day…
