Thanks so much for all the congrats on the gate in the last post.
Its my first such project and I felt as if I’d just mastered a really difficult knitting pattern and put it on!!
I’m afraid, at this stage, I am not taking requests, sorry
Jo asked to see my C-Lap, and I have to admit that I haven’t touched it since I got back from Clare.
Well, I tell a little white one, I technically did touch it, as I had to take it out and arrange it to take a few photos. (Can you see the little paw on the right, Ronnie wanted in on the action)
Can you see the point where I changed over from struggling with the stitch markers and went to purls instead?
And here’s a bit of a close up on the dropped stitches, including bit of paw for size purposes.
But of course, we all like a bit of hero worship for our knitted items (I’m not worthy, I’m not worthy)
Even if he then feigns nonchalance and has a good wash.
Then I bundled it up and put it away again. After I picked off several black hairs…..
well it is looking very beautiful, no wonder your puss is admiring it!

I’m a total Ronnie fan.
The colors for your clap are terrific! And if you were working on it right now, wouldn’t it be easier now that you’ve switched to purling the dropped stitches?

The stitch markers didn’t last long, did they! It looks great, as does the cat. The colours are beautiful.

I absolutely love that yarn your using, I still havent found anything to start my clap with, the closest was some Colinette Jitterbug at Ally Pally.

LOL “if you lay it they will come”. We have that with the dogs too.
I love the coloured wool you have chosen.
