I’m heading away for a week to Clare, without internet access, which is both a blessing and a curse. Good to get away from it for a while though.

I’ve cast on for the C-Lap, decided to go for it (Diane?? KAL??)

So far its going okay. May run out of stitchmarkers before I know it though so may have to resort to purling that stitch, I think I’m getting the hang of it at this stage. Sorry for the bad photos, just took them and the light isn’t the best.

meanwhile, I’m going to enjoy a cuppa tea in my new sheep mug

and admire the lovely glass candle holder that my Mum gave me. She gave me two, this one is sitting on a new shelf, one of a potential 4 that will be put up in the sitting room.

Isn’t it nice?

I was nicely surprised by the response to my previous post, looks like Im not the only one with raisen issues out there!!

So…see you next week, hope you all have a good one!!

  1. Your kitties are just too handsome.

That crackled glass is gorgeous. I love the blue and clear together.

Also, you should give serious thought to purling the stitch to be dropped. It makes time fly, and on the WS it doesn’t matter if you purl or knit it. It’s going to be dropped anyway.

  2. Enjoy your week in Clare. The kittens look so satisfied with themselves. Your lamp is great and so is the mug. I love the look of the knitting too.

  3. Sara, you have given me the incentive to knit the c-lap…anyone else up for it?

  5. What beautiful colours in your yarn. I’m not sure wht a c-lap is either. Mind you I’ve only knitted 1 pair of socks recently and that was from a 1920s/30s pattern so terminology might’ve changed. Love to know more.
